September is get-back-to-business month! So come on out to Hawks & Reed to support the non-profits of Franklin County with your presence and donation of $33 or more to the deserving recipient of our collective gift. We can’t wait to hear your 5-minute pitches, and we’ll also hear from Root Studio and It Takes a Village, recent recipients, about how our past gifts are being used to support needs in our community.
Registration is between 5:30 and 6:00 so come when you can, grab a bevvie from the bar, and chat with your friends. The meeting will start at 6:00, and you’ll be out the door by 7:00 or so, with that warm, fuzzy feeling that comes from being in a roomful of good people working to make things better.
Don’t be shy about nominating your favorite non-profit. We’re a very supportive audience, and you only need to speak for five minutes (a non-member from that non-profit can field questions during the 5-minute Q&A). So take a chance, nominate – everyone’s a winner because we learn so much from every presentation.
