Even though we weren’t able to gather at Hawks & Reed for an event on March 31 due to COVID-19 restrictions, 100 Who Carers rose to the occasion by donating from home. The steering committee suggested that we donate online to United Way of Franklin County because they are an umbrella organization for over 25 local agencies, but we also encouraged members to give to any of their favorite Franklin County non-profits. We’re so happy that we exceeded our goal of $1000—our collective gift during this crisis was $1,271.00! Thank you so much for giving during this time of uncertainty and stress.
We hope to meet in person again on June 23 at Hawks & Reed, but if that can’t happen, we’ll keep giving separately in the spirit of 100 Who Care.
